Sensory Projects
Exhibition at Gallery 181, College of Design, Iowa State University, Ames, IA

Project Description
The Sensory Project Exhibition is a dynamic and immersive experience designed to captivate visitors through interactive and multi-sensory elements. It features installations that respond to touch, sound, and movement, inviting participants to explore themes in an engaging, hands-on manner. By integrating sensory experiences, the exhibition combines visuals, sounds, and tactile interactions to foster deeper emotional connections. With a strong educational focus, the exhibition transforms complex data and abstract concepts into accessible and compelling experiences. It seamlessly merges technology and art, employing tools such as projection mapping, sensors, and digital displays to create visually striking and thought-provoking installations.
Each sensory element is carefully aligned with central themes—such as the vital role of soil, the processes of losing and regenerating topsoil, and soil storytelling. These elements encourage visitors to reflect on these topics in meaningful and impactful ways, bridging the gap between knowledge and personal connection.
